IXL/CarbonX fibreglass frames require hardly any maintenance at all – all you need to do is wipe off dirt occasionally. If the clamp fittings have a tendency to slip, we recommend cleaning the insides of the fittings and the extendable tubes using methylated spirits. As with the Isabella steel frame, rubber grommets are factory-mounted on all spikes at angles and cross poles.
